By default, EQ admin compuers will open ReportCard using Access 97. An unrecognised database error appears. This just means that we need to open ReportCard with Access XP (or later). EQ machines do this because SMS needs access 97 to operate. It’s a bit like buying a black and white TV and expecting all the new digital gadgets to work with it. Access 97 is 10 years old and will not support all the new features that Report Card uses. It needs MS Access XP or later. All new EQ admin builds have Access XP installed. Simply start Access XP and browse for ReportCard just like opening a word document.
