Page 1 of 4 There are several pages in this section About Referals KidTrack simply captures those students who have been refered to someone for a specialised support program. It's not a diagnosis tool nor does it capture specific information particular to that discipline. KidTrack will simply tell you if a student has been referred. A very handy feature of KidTrack allows you to link referal documents and outcomes. These are usually word ofrPDF documents that live on your server space. This is particularly useful when a teacher needs more in depth knowledge of a student to assist in classroom programing. Adding a new referal - Select Support referals from the function bar on the left.
- Type in your password in the password box in the top right of KidTrack.
- Click the new referal tab
- select a student from the drop down list

- Enter all the required information.
- Use the calendar tool to select the correct date
- Use the attach document button to browse for the referal document. KidTrack saves this a hyperlink.
NOTE: If the referal document is moved to another folder, the hyperlink will break and the document will not open. TIP: use Free PDF creator to merge multiple documents together as one file. This is a free download from the internet. Click here for the website. More on the next page
