Remote Help

In the event that yoiu are experiencing problems that just won't go away and you cannot fix yourself...this feature enables schools to send databases directly to Student Data Systems.  Often databases are big files and won't email.  The remote feature allows you to send you zipped databases easily.

Concept

Zip your database and drag it to the  Student Data Systems FTP web folder.  The database will be returned with a weblink to collect your database.

How??

Zip your ReportCard.  Right click on ReportCard and send to Compressed (Zipped) folder.  This compreses your datbase to a smaller file for easy transfer.  Check for the new zip file in the folder where ReportCard resides.

Rename the new zip file ReportCardMySchool.zip  This makes your Reportcard unique and I can send it back to the right place.

Click here to open the FTP window.

Drag you zip file into the FTP window.  This saves your databse to the Student Data Systems web folder where we can collect it and work on it for you.

The drag and upload process ought to take about 5 minutes (depending on the size of the file)
